Since 2017, local NGO ImpactHK has been helping those experiencing homelessness in Hong Kong by offering direct holistic support, distributing food and other necessities, and providing shelter, employment opportunities and above all, friendship. I recently joined founder, Jeff Rotmeyer, on one of his regular Kindness Walks through the city, experiencing and witnessing first hand, the incredible work that ImpactHK does for the most vulnerable in our community, bringing joy, comfort and hope to those who need it the most. The article I wrote about my experience is featured in the wonderfully inspiring digital coffeehouse magazine, Coffee & Conversations, and can be found at this link.
If you’d like to be part of this incredible community of kindness and compassion, consider signing up for one of ImpactHK’s Kindness Walks (on the Hands On Hong Kong website) or make a donation today. Take a walk on the kind side. You won’t regret it.
