Who better to have a conversation about AI then De Kai – computer scientist, AI pioneer, professor, and now author of an accessible guide on how to understand, use, and ultimately, regain some degree of control over this powerful tool that we humans have created. We discussed “Raising AI: An Essential Guide to Parenting Our Future” to a rapt audience at the 25th annual Hong Kong International Literary Festival in my beloved island city. It was an insightful and informative session, culminating in a vigorous call-to-action: to be more empathetic, to pay more attention, and to be more intentional about how we use, and parent, the AI tools that we use every single day.
